Between 2008 and 2011, unit sales of HERMA outdoor adhesive films more than quadrupled. Two film qualities are available: a foamed, seawater-resistant PE film, and a tearproof, thin PET film. To enable dealers to more fully exploit the potential of this very fast-growing market segment, HERMA is now adding high-margin large packs for commercial customers to its range.
White A4 adhesive films are available immediately in both 50-sheet (PE) and 100-sheet packs (PET). The complete assortment now encompasses more than 20 different products, available in two film qualities (PE and PET), a variety of formats (from 45.7 x 21.2 mm to A4 and A3) and pack sizes (10, 25, 50 and 100 sheets).
Professional outdoor signage
Forming part of the HERMA SPECIAL product range, the outdoor adhesive films are ideal for open-air applications. Thanks to adhesive technology developed jointly with BASF, they stick reliably to just about any surface, even if soiled or wavy. They resist ageing, repel oil and dirt, can be wiped clean, and withstand temperatures from minus 40 to plus 150°C. The adhesive films are highly practical too – they are compatible with all customary colour laser printers and copiers.
Ideal for commercial and private users
In view of the extended range, users can now make even fuller use of the application scope. Consumers can permanently label their sports equipment, luggage, letterboxes and refuse bins, for example. And commercial users can put the outdoor adhesive films to many uses, including as safety and warning signs, for labelling tyres, truck tarpaulins, containers, pallets, drums and warehouse bays, on construction sites and in window displays.
