All-new generation of labels unveiled / Improved look and feel / Carbon-neutral for the first time / Booth invites visitors to test the best from HERMA / Relaunch of top-selling book covers: absence of adhesives prevents sticking
By calling on visitors to test the best from HERMA, the Filderstadt company is grabbing attention again at this year's Paperworld fair. HERMA managing director Sven Schneller confidently explains, "Our mission is to produce the best labels in the world as regards quality, innovation, sustainability and dealer benefits. And we are backing our ambition by inviting dealers and commercial end-users to validate our products at the Paperworld fair." Visitors to the booth (Hall 3.0 C61) who follow the invitation to test the best from HERMA can, for example, compare the whiteness, opacity and adhesion of HERMA PREMIUM, the entirely new generation of labels, with conventional products. The invitation also encompasses the thoroughly redesigned book covers, which now offer innovative properties.
First carbon-neutral standard labels
Measured against regular products, the new HERMA PREMIUM generation of labels is visibly whiter and more opaque. Thanks to their greater density and the associated evenness when applied, the labels ensure absolutely congestion-free printing, even with high-speed printers. The thicker material offers significant practical benefits both when peeling and when applying. The especially uniform paper surface, moreover, on account of its outstanding whiteness, makes certain of brilliant and sharp images with practically any PC printer and copiers, in both black-and-white and colour. The adhesive offers significantly enhanced tack, so that all HERMA PREMIUM labels stick very well, even to cold and damp surfaces. Their carbon-neutral credentials are understood to be without equal in the global arena. The carbon dioxide released during production is offset through a climate protection project run by the highly regarded non-profit foundation myclimate. "To the best of our knowledge, this form of offsetting is unique for labels – and represents a major selling point for our trading partners. Recent studies show that more than 70 percent of consumers are calling for more carbon-neutral products – across all categories," comments Schneller. Resellers also stand to benefit from the launch of the HERMA PREMIUM and HERMA SPECIAL lines for more demanding applications. HERMA is not only restructuring its range in conjunction with the launch, but has also redesigned its packaging. Schneller continues, "We are seeking to offer both resellers and consumers the greatest possible transparency and clarity, and the best value for money. The changes enable our trading partners to increase their sales and earnings."
Six benefits insideVisitors to the company's booth can test other aspects of HERMA's best as well. Schneller explains, "Our new book covers satisfy consumers' increasing demands in every respect. They do not stick to the books because they entirely dispense with adhesives, they are hard-wearing, free from plasticizers, 100% recyclable and very simple to use thanks to the second sleeve, and they are available for all customary book formats. No fewer than six benefits are provided within the four corners of the new book covers." The million-selling HERMA book covers are sure to remain a steady success in the school segment as they set new standards of quality and ease of use.
