HERMA ISO certification for quality management
ISO 9001
HERMA is certified by TÜV SÜD for the development, manufacture and sale of self-adhesive material, labels and labelling machines in accordance with ISO 9001. The ISO 9001 quality management standard is the most widespread and important standard in quality management nationally and internationally. It forms the basis for the continuous improvement of the company's quality management system. The standard defines the minimum standards for a quality management system that need to be implemented by a company to meet the customer requirements and other requirements for product and service quality. HERMA completely satisfies these requirements. The certification lays the foundations for the continuous improvement of the system in order to fulfil all customer requirements at all times.
HERMA ISO certification for energy management
ISO 50001
The certification body of TÜV SÜD also certifies that HERMA's Filderstadt and Deizisau sites satisfy all requirements for the ISO certification in the development, manufacture and sale of self-adhesive materials, labels and labelling machines in accordance with ISO 50001. HERMA has successfully introduced its energy management system; this was confirmed by a TÜV audit. HERMA is therefore committed to continuously lowering the specific energy consumption, amongst other things, at the Filderstadt and Deizisau sites. The implementation of the energy management system is supported by the entire workforce – another sign of environmental awareness at HERMA. Conserving resources and protecting the climate are a top priority at HERMA.
HERMA FSCTM certification
HERMA has been awarded the FSCTM seal for the Self-adhesive Materials and Labels divisions. The Forest Stewardship CouncilTM (FSCTM) is an international certification system for forest management. Ten globally applicable principles guarantee that wood and paper products with the FSCTM seal come from responsibly managed forests. The FSCTM standard stipulates that all the ecological functions must be preserved when managing the forest. It also protects the flora and fauna within the managed areas and secures the rights of any indigenous people and also the workers.

HERMA PEFC certification
Two thirds of the forests in Germany bear this seal. The "Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes" is a transparent and independent system to ensure sustainable forest management. It is based on very strict standards. The audit certifies the entire product manufacturing process, from the raw materials through to the ready-to-use finished product, and is controlled by independent auditors. A TÜV audit confirmed that HERMA complies with the PEFC standards for its self-adhesive material and labels.
