Fabrikstraße 16 becomes Heinrich-Hermann-Straße 14
New address for HERMA GmbH
From 1 January 2021, HERMA GmbH in Filderstadt will be found at a new address. A section of the former Fabrikstraße, where the company's headquarters are located, will be renamed Heinrich-Hermann-Straße. In addition, the house number will change from 16 to 14. So this does not involve a move, but a renaming.
Please note the new address for all business transactions from 1 January 2021 onwards.

Who was Heinrich Hermann?
The rededication is intended to honour the founder of HERMA, Heinrich Hermann. He founded HERMA exactly 115 years ago. His descendants still own the company today.
Heinrich Hermann was born in Stuttgart on 19 June 1876. He was a father of 5 children, a devout Christian and an entrepreneur with heart and soul. Equipped with a visionary spirit, he was willing to work hard and take risks. Always on the lookout for improvements, he developed new products himself and also tinkered with the production machines needed for them, which were not available for sale. In several cases, he applied for patents and design protection. We owe HERMA how it is today to Heinrich Hermann. He died on 16 September 1939.
Redesign of the Fabrikstraße
Back in 2015, HERMA acquired the so-called Gutperle site, which was located directly opposite the existing headquarters. Since then, an additional plant for the coating of self-adhesive materials and a building for the production of labelling machines have been built on this site. More than 100 million euros have been invested. Until now, the new parts of the company were still separated from the existing buildings by the Fabrikstraße.
With the rededication, this section of Fabrikstraße (between the Raiffeisenstraße and Rainäckerstraße intersections) has now been closed to public traffic and has become part of the now united HERMA factory premises. Currently, redesign work is already underway to visually mark the road as company premises by means of gates and barriers. The entire HERMA site now covers 130,000 square metres and offers us the opportunity to continue to grow at the Filderstadt location in the medium and long term.
In return, HERMA extended and renovated a private road, which had previously been completely on the factory premises, entirely from our own funds and handed it over to public traffic. This ensured the further connection of the remaining part of the factory road to the local road network.
Directions and parking options
In future, access to the factory premises will only be possible via the new Heinrich-Hermann-Straße (coming from the roundabout). You can also use the address Raiffeisenstraße 3 in 70794 Filderstadt for your navigation device if neither Fabrikstraße 16 nor Heinrich-Hermann-Straße 14 is found correctly due to the renaming.
Parking for suppliers (trucks)
A guidance system with colours makes it possible to find the right ramps for delivery and collection. Parking facilities for trucks and sanitary facilities for the drivers are available.
Parking for visitors (cars)
Visitor parking spaces are available on the right and left of Heinrich-Hermann-Straße. A parking ticket is not required. Visitors must register at the gate as before.
