Different types of labeling

Different product shapes and requirements call for a corresponding labeling method; at HERMA, you can choose between top-and-bottom labeling, closure labeling, two-side labeling, and wrap-around labeling to find the optimal solution. Top-and-bottom labeling is one of the most common types of labeling and is used primarily for pre-packaged foods. If you’d like to use labels to close or seal products, you can use corner or closure labeling. For certain products, such as pharmaceuticals, this type of product labeling is required by law. If you’re interested in side labeling for your products, we offer two-side labeling machines that you can flexibly and precisely adapt to various products and sizes. This allows for easy switching between many products and between single-sided and two-side labeling. If wrap-around labeling is an option for you, we recommend, depending on your requirements, cyclic machines with a clocked starwheel or continuous-run machines with a starwheel and applicating/side/top belt.
