Frequently asked questions about deep-freeze labels

  • Can I print my own deep-freeze labels?

Printing your own deep-freeze labels is a practical solution: You can letter the labels on your computer and print them in black or colour. This is much neater than lettering by hand, and the results are more attractive. Designing and printing deep-freeze labels is easy with Label Assistant Online. You can work on your browser and don’t have to download any software. Here are the steps for creating and printing deep-freeze labels:

    1. Select a suitable coated deep-freeze label
    2. Order the label from one of our linked partner shops
    3. On the corresponding product page click on “Design this label”
    4. Open the blank template for the label in LabelAssistant Online
    5. Design the label according to your wishes
    6. If you want to print a number of different labels, consider using the mail merge function
    7. Before printing, check your work in the print preview
    8. If everything is correct and no errors have crept in, generate a PDF file in LabelAssistant Online.
    9. Print the PDF file
    10. Laser printers and inkjet printers are suitable for this purpose. Note the printing instructions on the product

If you prefer using a template for Word, InDesign or Illustrator, or if you need a die cut template, HERMA provides templates in these cases as well. It will be easier to find the right template for your software if you know from the start what kind of deep-freeze label you need. Click on the corresponding Word template at the bottom of the page. The template will be automatically downloaded. You can then open it in Word and go to work. Print your results using a suitable printer. You’re now on your way to having a well-organised freezer compartment.
