For almost 25 years, Jürgen Keller, 61, has delivered innovative and efficient labelling solutions for many industries at HERMA. He will now retire as planned from his role as Sales Director of the Labels Division (Industry). HERMA set the course for his succession at an early stage: Marcus Nickel, 49, previously Sales Director of the Labels Division (Retail), will assume overall responsibility for sales across the Labels division. He will be supported by Marc Trapp, 50, who previously worked as Team Lead Internal Sales for the Labels Division (Industry) and will now take over its operational and personnel management. “Jürgen Keller has been an excellent industry expert and a sought-after point of contact, with whom customers have often brought technically pioneering solutions to market readiness. Under his leadership, alongside classic industrial labels for sectors such as chemicals, healthcare and automotive, HERMA established logistics as a further strong pillar,” says HERMA Managing Director Sven Schneller. “Thanks to his foresight, we play a leading role in this field today – and renowned global players rely on HERMA.”
Valuable synergies in focus
Marcus Nickel has been with HERMA since 2006 and has led sales in the Labels Division (Retail) since 2020. This primarily comprises products for professional use in offices and organisations as well as for school and private use. “In this challenging environment, Marcus Nickel has shown how to not only maintain a leading market position but expand it – through new sales concepts, an optimally aligned product range for maximum customer benefit, and a keen sense of opportunity combined with strong negotiating skills,” emphasises Schneller. “The industrial labels area will now benefit from this as well, not least because there has already been significant overlap between the two domains. By bringing the two sales divisions together, we can realise valuable synergies. With his many years of experience, Marc Trapp also ensures the necessary continuity in terms of industry and application expertise.”
