There are many different label applications in industry. HERMA offers a comprehensive range of high-quality label solutions for many applications in a wide variety of industries. Tailored to your application and manufactured in customised special designs. Supplemented by a range of frequently requested standard formats, available by online ordering and immediate delivery from our storage facility.

Made exactly to your specifications

We produce blank labels and labels either printed digitally or by conventional methods – exactly to your specifications. Made from paper, film and cardboard, a variety of pressure-sensitive adhesives, on rolls, sheets or in fanfolded stacks.

Logistics and address labels, continuous barcode labels, labels for hazardous substances labelling and sealing labels are just a small selection of our comprehensive range of products.

In food product labelling, the use of suitable label materials and “low-migration”, pressure-sensitive adhesives, printing inks and varnishes is particularly important. Our wide range of materials that are approved for contact with foodstuffs has the right solution for you from our own adhesive material production.

Best quality – and economically rewarding

Standard and custom-made products must also remain affordable without neglecting the best possible quality, functionality and the environment. Offering you an economically interesting solution is our top priority.

Active for the environment

We actively promote environmental protection: we use only solvent-free adhesives and chlorine-free bleached paper and are constantly improving our processes and components, such as label materials, adhesives, silicone paper and printing inks.

Certified label materials

HERMA has been awarded the FSC® seal (wood and paper products from responsibly managed forests) for adhesive materials and labels.

HERMA counteracts climate change

Companies like HERMA have a responsibility to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases. We take this responsibility very seriously and are responding to climate change with various strategies and measures.

Our sustainability strategy includes measures that contribute to stopping or at least slowing down further global warming. HERMA's aim is to avoid, reduce or compensate the emission of CO2 and other climate-influencing gases within our sphere of influence. We develop, procure, produce and deliver products and services without leaving an ecological footprint.

Equally important are the conscious use of finite natural resources and the preservation of important ecosystems.

We are committed to the 1.5 degree target and are therefore participating in the Science Based Targets initiative. Based on these targets, the aim is to reduce emissions in our direct sphere of influence by more than 42 per cent by 2030. At the same time, we are also working to reduce indirect emissions (those generated by suppliers) by more than 25 per cent. Regardless of SBTi targets, our goal is to achieve net zero emissions* by 2040.

* HERMA understands net zero emissions to mean the reduction and avoidance of CO2 emissions within our own sphere of influence (Scope 1+2+3) as far as possible and the compensation of the remaining, unavoidable emissions. No direct reference to SBTi targets.
