HERMA die-cutting and printing machine in label production, landscape format

Short distances, state-of-the-art facilities

Best production conditions for your labels

Short paths – from adhesive material to label

Our production area for labels is networked with adhesive material production and logistics via short routes. We process over 100 million square metres of adhesive materials per year – on state-of-the-art, die-cutting and printing machines, using either conventional printing processes, digital printing or processes that produce unprinted labels.

Digital printing – ideal for a wide variety of colours and types

In addition to traditional printing processes, we use state-of-the-art HP Indigo printing solutions. The print image is generated directly from the digital data.

This creates digital labels that have an above-average print quality and colour variety. Digital printing is particularly suited for product identification labels of different kinds and colours.

However, barcode labels with consecutive numbering or serial numbers that require database-supported administration can also be perfectly produced with this printing process.

Extreme precision in punching labels

The benchmark here isn’t one millimetre, it’s one tenth of a millimetre! To ensure that labels can be removed from the backing paper later in the application without any problems, extreme precision and punching accuracy are required.

Punched just a little too deep, the labels will bond with the backing paper – not punched deep enough and the labels will not separate.

Our production staff are specialised in guaranteeing this extreme punching accuracy day after day. Extensive tests at the start of production and during production ensure that the labels meet the high quality requirements.

Fully automatic roll changing units ensure that once they are set, the machines produce high quality continuously at a consistently high speed – without disruptive interruptions.
