HERMA labels on A4 sheets for top-quality results
High-quality label paper guarantees perfect printing results on monochrome and colour laser printers, inkjet printers and copiers. With optimum processing reliability. The all-round protective edge protects the printer drum and rollers from adhesive residues. Labels lie perfectly flat, ensuring trouble-free running. We protect the quality of these A4 labels by packaging them in practical climate-proof boxes. Thanks to cooperation with leading printer manufacturers, HERMA label sheets are compatible with all commonly used printers. We use chlorine-free bleached papers and solvent-free adhesives to protect the environment.
Paper labels with an all-round protective edge
In a laser printer, label sheets often make head-on contact with a roller. If the label adhesive were to extend all the way to the end of each sheet, small bits of adhesive could stick to the roller through such “collisions”. Over time, this could impair straight feeding of the sheets and they might not pass through the printer correctly. HERMA label sheets therefore have an all-round protruding edge of adhesive-free silicone liner. This prevents the transfer of adhesive residue to the drum and rollers and ensures smooth processing of both paper labels and film labels.
Information on use
- Follow the recommendations of the machine manufacturer (e.g. insert sheets individually or by means of the paper cassette)
- Sheets of labels should be used only once. Sheets from which some labels have been removed may cause problems if passed through the machine a second time.
- If only a portion of the pack is used, replace the rest in the pack. Ideal storage conditions: room temperature approx. 20°C, relative humidity 50%. Avoid pronounced fluctuations in these conditions.
- With laser printing we recommend the use of the “thick paper”, “heavy materials” or “labels” option (or equivalent) in the print driver settings or at the printer control panel.
Regulations concerning contact with food
The papers comply with recommendation XXXVI of the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) (direct contact with dry and/or greasy food). All adhesive constituents comply with recommendation XIV of the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment or FDA 21 CFR 175.105 (Adhesives).
