Speciality labels for difficult surfaces in the building materials sector

Every surface has its own requirements. And needs special solutions.

Wood, whether in the form of wooden slats, wooden frames, boards or OSB panels, is rough, uneven and highly absorbent. Labels cannot adhere to the entire surface of the uneven surface and must therefore be equipped with a particularly large amount of adhesive that can also penetrate the recesses of the surface. The  adhesive needs a particularly strong immediate adhesion (tack) and a pronounced final adhesion.

Insulating material made of polystyrene, e.g. in the form of heating pipe sheathing: just as rough, with a curved surface - a real challenge. Conventional labels very quickly reach their limits here.

Ceramic surfaces, e.g. on washbasins: with their smooth surface, they are not particularly demanding when it comes to labelling. But during installation, the labels should be easy to remove from the object without leaving any residue. Secure adhesion and later residue-free removal - our labels with special adhesive in multi-layer technology make it possible.

Storage boxes, made of transparent polypropylene, clear or milky, in different sizes: here too, it is important that the labels can be removed from the container without leaving any residue after purchase and do not damage the transparent surface.

Waste water pipes made of flame-retardant polypropylene, with smooth and curved surfaces, require labels that adhere particularly securely, even if the pipes rub against each other during transport.

Chequer plate - as the name suggests - has an extremely uneven surface, often with a lubricating film left over from the manufacturing process: our labels with increased adhesive application are also a suitable solution here.

A large number of products in the building materials sector are wrapped in shrink film made of PE or PP to protect them from soiling. Here we recommend labels made of PE or PP, which later enable the packaging films to be recycled according to type.

Dirt, dust, grease, release agents: just a few examples of difficult conditions for the secure adhesion of labels. Curved or extremely rough surfaces - these also pose special challenges for a label.
