Cartons made of recycled material are used in this scenario, where garments are transported to the logistics area after production. The content of the transport cartons is identified using Code 128 barcodes linked to product and order data in the merchandise management system, with the printed barcode labels numbered consecutively.

In this way, the carton contents can be easily identified when the merchandise is booked into the logistics system. The preprinted barcode labels on rolls are automatically applied to the transport cartons.

The consecutive barcodes are digitally printed on the Box ID labels on rolls. The codes match the number ranges given to us by the customer in Excel or CSV files. Alternatively, we can also provide number ranges that can be stored in the customer’s merchandise management system.

For the best possible level of data security, we manage customer number ranges in databases, ensuring that each number range is only used once.
