In the wood processing industry, sawn timber is often stored outdoors after production. The wood stacks or pallets are often wrapped in shrink or stretch film to protect the sensitive wood from moisture before they are transported into the storage facility.

Large-format labels identify the contents of the wood stack or pallet.
